Semana Europa e Relações Internacionais

Caros Estudantes Erasmus,

Como foi o vosso Natal? Espero que tenha sido óptimo, cheio de magia!

Sei que agora a maior parte de vocês está longe, porém vinha-vos informar que a AAFDL, juntamente com o Núcleo da Amnistia Internacional e a ELSA está a preparar uma semana Europa e das Relações Internacionais que ocorrerá, em princípio, no início de Março.

Vai consistir numa série de actividades, incluindo conferências e palestras e, principalmente, uma sessão de boas-vindas aos Erasmus Incoming do 2º semestre e de esclarecimento para os estudantes nacionais que pretendem ir de Erasmus no próximo ano lectivo. Espero que possam participar e ajudar na montagem. Haverá também, claro, uma festa!

A maior actividade será a simulação da Assembleia Geral da ONU. Pensámos que seria interessante se pudessem participar em representação do vosso próprio país. O que acham?

Desde logo, queria pedir a vossa ajuda para a exposição que pretendo fazer informativa de todos os protocolos que a FDL tem com faculdades estrangeiras. Assim, pedia-vos, se não der muito trabalho, que fizessem um pequeno texto a apresentar a vossa faculdade, de um parágrafo ou pouco mais, como acharem mais conveniente!

Dear Erasmus Students,

How was Christmas? I hope it was great, full of magic!

I know that most of you is on holidays now but i'd like to inform you that the AAFDL, the Internacional Amnisty Nuclei and ELSA are preparing a week on the subject of Europe and Internacional Relations that will occur in the beggining of May.

It will consist of a number of activities, like conferences and a welcoming session to the second semester Erasmus students. That session will also be an informative forum for the Outgoing Erasmus students of 2010/2011. It would be good if you could participate and give your experience and present your own faculty. There will also be a party!

The biggest activitie will be the simulation of UN general assembly. It would be interesting if you could participate as representants of your own country. What do you think?

I also wanted to ask for your help to put together an exposition of all the faculties that FDL has protocol with. Therefore, I'd like to ask you to write a little text presenting your faculty. I hope you can collaborate!

Amanhã, Quinta-Feira, dia 17 de Dezembro há gala na Faculdade. A gala tem início às 24 horas e realizar-se-á no Átrio da Faculdade.

Venho-vos recordar que se quiserem fazer exames pelos meios normais (como estudante da faculdade) terão que se dirigir à Dra Rosa, no Gabinete Erasmus, e fazer aí a inscrição.

Se ainda não tiverem tratado deste assunto, recomendo que falem com os vossos professores a fim de combinar a melhor maneira para poderem finalizar a vossa avaliação relativa ao 1º Semestre.

I remind you that if you want do the exams as a regular student you should go to the Erasmus Cabinet of the FDL, so that Dra Rosa can sign you up.

If you haven't dealt with this subject, I recommend that you talk to your teachers in order to find the best way to complete your evaluation concenrning the 1st Term.

Today, the 9th of November, it's the 20th aniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. Therefore, (the AAFDL, the NAI and the ELSA) we have prepared a week to commemorate with several actvities.

Monday: Beginning of an Exposition on the subject
Tuesday: Screening of the movie "Goodbye, Lenin", in the Auditório, at 6pm
Wednesday: Conference on the subject "Fall of the Berlin Wall: 20 years past the détente" with the participation of the Director of the portuguese IA (Pedro Krupenski) and Prof. Jorge Reis Novais
Thursday: Screening of the movie "The Lives of Others", in the Auditório, at 6pm
Friday: Music of the time at Rádio AAFDL, Bar Velho

Curso Direito Privado Europeu Comparado

Caros Estudantes Erasmus,

Estão abertas as incrições para o curso intensivo de 'Direito Privado Europeu Comparado', leccionado pelo Professor Doutor Hilmar Fenge (da Leibniz Universitaet Hannover). O curso é gratuito e dá créditos (ECTS). Terá a duração de 1 semana, 2 a 6 de Novembro, com o horário das 18h às 20h.


Dear Erasmus Students,

You can enroll now to the intensive course of 'European Comparative Private Law'. The teacher will be Professor Hilmar Fenge (from the Leibniz Universitaet Hannover). The course is free and can give you ECTS. It will last only one week, from the 2nd to the 6th of November, everyday from 6 to 8 pm.

Atendimento Pedagógico-Científico

Aqui vai o horário do Atendimento Pedagógico-Científico do Gabinete Erasmus da Faculdade. O atendimento será realizado pela Dra Dinamene de Freitas todas as Quintas-Feiras, das 11h às 12h30.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 13th, there will be a conference on the subject of Death Penalty, promoted by the NAI (Amnesty International Nuclei). It will occur on the Anfiteatro 1, at 6pm. Free entrance. Na próxima Segunda-Feira, dia 21 de Setembro, é dia de PRAXES. Quer isto dizer que os estudantes mais velhos (antigos) da FDL vão receber os caloiros (novos estudantes do 1º ano) de uma forma calorosa e divertida. É uma oportunidade para ver a faculdade num dia único de todo o ano lectivo e ficar a conhecer um pouco mais das tradições académicas protuguesas.



Tinha pensado, então, pedir-vos a todos para comparecerem. Assim, poderemos também realizar uma pequena visita ao Campus da UL (universidade de Lisboa) pela manhã e, ainda, ficar a conhecer os mentores. Estes serão uma espécie de padrinhos que vos poderão acompanhar e ajuadr ao longo do vosso período cá.

Dear Erasmus Students,



Next Monday, 21st of September, is the day when the older students welcome the new students of the FDL. It's called 'PRAXES'. It's an oportunity to see the Faculty on a very original day that won't be repeated until next year. This way you can get to know our academic traditions!



Also, I had thought to seize the oportunity to do a little tour on the UL Campus in the morning.



The 'mentores', that will be the students who'll accompany you more closely throughout the year, will be present. Therefore we can all get to know each other better!

Bem-Vindos / Welcome

Caros Estudantes Erasmus e de outros Programas de Intercâmbio,

Em nome de toda a Associação Académica da FDL (AAFDL), damos-vos as Boas-vindas a Lisboa e à FDL.

Esperamos que tenham chegado bem e estejam já acomodados. Este blog servirá de ponte, sempre que não nos possamos encontrar pessoalmente, para vos dar informações relativas à FDL e à vida académica assim como para poderem expôr as vossas dúvidas e perguntas às quais tentaremos responder o mais rapidamente possível.

Esperamos conhecer-vos muito em breve para podermos começar a combinar actividades, jantares e saídas em conjunto!

Começando pelo início, é essencial que se matriculem na Faculdade. Os dias para as inscrições serão de 14 a 18 de Setembro. Porém, como é do vosso interesse terem os papéis todos em ordem o mais rápido que conseguirem, sugerimos (e pedimos) que realizem as vossas inscrições logo na segunda (14) ou terça-feira (15). Assim, poder-se-ão dirigir ao Gabinete Erasmus da FDL de seguida e conseguir todas as declarações que precisam para começar o ano sem problemas.

As inscrições realizar-se-ão no átrio principal da Faculdade (se entrarem pela Entrada Principal encontrarão logo o local). Para a inscrição necessitam de um documento de identificação (passaporte para os estudantes de fora da UE) e 2 fotografias.

Nestes dias realizar-se-ão ainda pequenas visitas guiadas à faculdade.

Dear Erasmus Student and from other Exchange Student Programmes,

In name of all the Academic Association of the FDL (AAFDL), we welcome you to Lisbon and to our Faculty.

We hope you have arrived well and are already accommodated. This blog will be used as a bridge to give you information related with the school and the academic life. Also, you can post on the blog all your questions and doubts to which will try to give a rapid response.

We hope that we meet soon so that we can start arranging group activities, dinners and walkabouts together!

But first things first. It is essential that you enroll at the FDL. The period to do so will be next week, from September 14th to the 18th. However, it is in your best interest that we suggest and ask that you come on Monday (14th) or Tuesday (15th). This way you can get all of the papers you need the most to start the school year without bigger problems.

The enrollment will take place in the Faculty’s atrium (at the main entrance we will see the place). To enroll you need an Identification Document and 2 pictures.

These days will also occur guided visits to the installations!
