Erasmus dinner

Olá a todos!

As I've said on Wednesday's meeting, on Tuesday there will be an Erasmus dinner followed by a party on our College.

The dinner will take place at 20h30, in Bar Novo (still in the college) and we shall meet at FDL's main gate, what do you think?

The price is set on 10€ (sorry! I really tried to level it down!) e I need you confirmation until tomorrow early afternoon (13h). I urge you to check your e-mail and tell to all every Erasmus students that you can, who may not read this e-mail and don't get informed. I'd really like to see you there and it will be a great chance for us all to get to know each other!! Looking forward for you reply (and confirmation!! =] ) and, please, do it as fast as you can because if I don't have enough confirmations until that deadline, I'll have to cancel the dinner (and I really don't want to!)

Erasmus dinner/Jantar Erasmus

Hi there!

In case you didn’t noticed at the time, there was new elections for the student body council (AAFDL). I am the recent elect head of the cabinet of support for the foreign and Erasmus students. This means I am your representative. I know that the semester is almost over bu, unfortunately, only at this time I’ve had chance to get your contacts.

You might know me from sight, and maybe I attend at some classes that you do as well, but I must say that I have a terrible memory for faces: not as much as names, but I am terrible with faces, really. If I have talked with you once and never talked to you again don’t be offended if I didn’t talk to you again.

Anyway, I am here to talk to you about an Erasmus dinner that will take place on Tuesday, the 25th of May. The dinner will be 10€, with all included, and you have to sign in AAFDL until next Monday morning. It will happen in bar novo, and we’ll meet at the door at 20.30h. I must tell you that not only Erasmus and foreign students will attend at this dinner: it’ll be a reunion of former Erasmus students, you all, and those who want to go and study abroad.

I promise that you’ll spend a great time, and it will be a great fun. Afterwards we may go to the “Festa Pimba”, a typical Portuguese party. I really think you won’t regret it!! Please, send your answer to my e-mail, and sign up on Monday. Even if you don’t sign up, tell me something.

Olá pessoal!

Para o caso de não terem reparado houve recentes eleições para AAFDL e eu fui eleito como Coordenador do gabinete de apoio ao aluno estrangeiro e Erasmus, o que significa que sou o vosso representante. Eu sei que o semestre já está quase a acabar, mas só agora me deram oportunidade de aceder aos vossos contactos.

O meu nome é Marco Prazeres e podem ver quem sou no link em cima.

Podem conhecer-me de vista, e se calhar até vou às mesmas aulas que vocês, mas devo dizer que tenho uma memória terrível para caras: não tanto para nomes, mas para caras sou mesmo muito mau. Se falei convosco uma vez e depois não o voltei a fazer não levem a mal, por favor!

No entanto, estou a enviar este mail para vos falar dos jantar Erasmus de terça-feira, no bar novo, às 20.30h. O jantar vai custar 10€, com tudo incluído e bebida à discrição e têm de se inscrever na AAFDL até segunda-feira à hora do almoço. Devo informar que não vão só alunos Erasmus mas antigos alunos Erasmus e/ou pessoas querem ir estudar para fora.

Prometo que se vão divertir muito, e será um tempo bem passado. Depois do jantar podemos ir para a “Festa Pimba”, uma típica festa portuguesa. Acho mesmo que não se vão arrepender! Por favor mandem-me uma resposta para o meu mail, e quem quiser, que se inscreva na AAFDL até à hora do almoço. Mesmo que não vão, digam-me alguma coisa.

FESTA EUROPA

Amanhã, dia 4 de Março, há FESTA EUROPA! Começa às 23h, no BAR DO RIO (Cais do Sodré). BAR ABERTO, 12 € para eles e 6€ para elas de entrada.

Simulação Assembleia Geral da ONU

Caros Estudantes Erasmus,

Espero que a época de exames tenha corrido bem! Para os que se vão embora agora, espero que tenham gostado de estudar na FDL e venham visitar-nos em breve!

Para os que ficam para o segundo semestre... A AAFDL, em conjunto com a ELSA e o Nucleo da Amnistia Internacional está a promover uma actividade de Simulação da Assembleia Geral da ONU relativa ao tema da Pena de Morte. Vai ser no dia 3 de Março pelas 16h, na Faculdade. Se quiserem participar, juntem-se em grupos de 2 ou 3 pessoas e enviem a vossa inscrição para simulacaoonu.nai.aafdl.elsa@gmail.com .

Com a confirmação da vossa inscrição ser-vos-á atribuído um país que representarão. Assim, têm que preparar uma pequena intervenção em que resumam a posição do vosso país. Para isso, enviar-vos-emos uma pequena recolha de informação para vos orientar.

I hope the exam period was good for all! For those of you who are leaving, I hope you have enjoyed your time here and that you come visit us soon!

For those of you who are staying for the second semester... The AAFDL, with ELSA and the International Amnisty Nuclei, is preparing a Simulation of UN's General Assembly on the subject of Death Penalty. It will occur on the 3rd of March, at 4pm, at the Faculty. If you want to participate you can enroll at simulacaoonu.nai.aafdl.elsa@gmail.com . We reccomend grups of 2 or 3 participants.

With the confirmation of your enrollment in the activity, we'll atribute you a country to represent and a sheet with information on that country's position on the subject. You can, that way, start preparing your intervention.

Semana Europa e Relações Internacionais

Caros Estudantes Erasmus,

Como foi o vosso Natal? Espero que tenha sido óptimo, cheio de magia!

Sei que agora a maior parte de vocês está longe, porém vinha-vos informar que a AAFDL, juntamente com o Núcleo da Amnistia Internacional e a ELSA está a preparar uma semana Europa e das Relações Internacionais que ocorrerá, em princípio, no início de Março.

Vai consistir numa série de actividades, incluindo conferências e palestras e, principalmente, uma sessão de boas-vindas aos Erasmus Incoming do 2º semestre e de esclarecimento para os estudantes nacionais que pretendem ir de Erasmus no próximo ano lectivo. Espero que possam participar e ajudar na montagem. Haverá também, claro, uma festa!

A maior actividade será a simulação da Assembleia Geral da ONU. Pensámos que seria interessante se pudessem participar em representação do vosso próprio país. O que acham?

Desde logo, queria pedir a vossa ajuda para a exposição que pretendo fazer informativa de todos os protocolos que a FDL tem com faculdades estrangeiras. Assim, pedia-vos, se não der muito trabalho, que fizessem um pequeno texto a apresentar a vossa faculdade, de um parágrafo ou pouco mais, como acharem mais conveniente!

Dear Erasmus Students,

How was Christmas? I hope it was great, full of magic!

I know that most of you is on holidays now but i'd like to inform you that the AAFDL, the Internacional Amnisty Nuclei and ELSA are preparing a week on the subject of Europe and Internacional Relations that will occur in the beggining of May.

It will consist of a number of activities, like conferences and a welcoming session to the second semester Erasmus students. That session will also be an informative forum for the Outgoing Erasmus students of 2010/2011. It would be good if you could participate and give your experience and present your own faculty. There will also be a party!

The biggest activitie will be the simulation of UN general assembly. It would be interesting if you could participate as representants of your own country. What do you think?

I also wanted to ask for your help to put together an exposition of all the faculties that FDL has protocol with. Therefore, I'd like to ask you to write a little text presenting your faculty. I hope you can collaborate!

Gala FDL

Amanhã, Quinta-Feira, dia 17 de Dezembro há gala na Faculdade. A gala tem início às 24 horas e realizar-se-á no Átrio da Faculdade.

Dress Code: Fato escuro / Vestido de cocktail
Preço: 10 €, com duas bebidas incluídas

Tomorrow, Thursday, the 17th of December there will be a gala at the Faculty. It commences at Midnight and it will occur at the faculty's main atrium.

Caros Estudantes Erasmus,

Venho-vos recordar que se quiserem fazer exames pelos meios normais (como estudante da faculdade) terão que se dirigir à Dra Rosa, no Gabinete Erasmus, e fazer aí a inscrição.

Se ainda não tiverem tratado deste assunto, recomendo que falem com os vossos professores a fim de combinar a melhor maneira para poderem finalizar a vossa avaliação relativa ao 1º Semestre.

Dear Erasmus Students,

I remind you that if you want do the exams as a regular student you should go to the Erasmus Cabinet of the FDL, so that Dra Rosa can sign you up.

If you haven't dealt with this subject, I recommend that you talk to your teachers in order to find the best way to complete your evaluation concenrning the 1st Term.
